| CS6 and the new Creative Cloud Posted: 23 Apr 2012 01:21 PM PDT After making us go through a maze of previews and sneak peeks, Adobe has finally detailed its pricing plans regarding the Creative Suite 6. CS consists of multiple applications, including the likes of Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and several others. The CS6 Standard package will cost $1299 whereas the Master Collection comes in at a monumental $2599. You can, as per usual, opt to buy individual products, such as Photoshop CS6 for $699, and so on. However, if paying such big amounts in one shot is not something that interests you, Adobe has also introduced its own subscription service, called Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud is a service that offers users a plethora of features, including: • Website hosting The subscription fee for Creative Cloud will work out at $49.99 per month, if you pay for a full year in advance. If you do choose to pay the fees on a month-to-month basis, the cost rises to $74.99 per month. If you are an existing user of an earlier version of the Creative Suite, you can make use of the promotional upgrade offer and get Creative Cloud at a discounted rate of $29.99 per month (if paying for one year).
